Key Cities APPG: Skills for Cities, Skills for Life

Portcullis House
October 24, 2022 1:45 pm to 4:00 pm
Macmillan Room, Portcullis House, 1 Victoria Embankment, London SW1A 2JR
Skills are at the heart of economic growth, opportunity and levelling up. Getting the provision of skills training, apprenticeships and education right in each place requires local knowledge and partnership between policymakers, local authorities, employers and providers.

Informed by the Key Cities Skills Conference held in May, a survey of member cities, and input from member universities of the Key Cities Innovation Network, the APPG will formulate recommendations and facilitate a constructive partnership on skills between Key Cities, Ministers and Government Departments.

This event is open to MPs and Peers. Associate Members (Key Cities and university members of the Key Cities Innovation Network) may also attend in a non-voting capacity. Click Register to send a message to the APPG Secretariat.
