A gathering of Parliamentarians, City Leaders, Universities and Cultural Organisations to strengthen cooperation between legislators, local government and stakeholders, organised by the Key Cities APPG.
Hosted by APPG Co-Chairs John Stevenson MP and Rebecca Long-Bailey MP, highlights of the event include:
- the launch of Culture and Place in Britain, a report detailing how arts and culture help to create healthier and more prosperous places for everyone, produced by Key Cities in partnership with Arts Council England,
- introducing the Key Cities Innovation Network, a new grouping of universities located in Key Cities working together on scalable innovation and supporting their local areas,
- presentation of the policy programme of Key Cities over the coming year, including initiatives on Skills, Climate Change, Transport, Housing and Social Care.
