Next week representatives from the public sector, real estate and investment will descend upon Leeds for the second iteration of UKREiiF. As one of the leading events on the UK stage, it connects people, places and businesses to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment across the country.

Major UK cities and regions will be brought together alongside Government, investors, funders, developers and housebuilders, for a full programme of talks, workshops and networking. It’s an unparalleled opportunity for city leaders to showcase the potential of their places, attract investment and drive levelling up – for the benefit of both their local economies and communities.

It’s therefore crucial that Key Cities has a seat at the table, so various leaders and officers will be there to represent their cities and the network.

We’re also hosting a dedicated event to launch our new report, ‘Levelling Up, Emissions Down’, which highlights how local authorities hold the key to addressing the climate crisis. Following the local elections, we are urging the Government to provide more powers, clarity, capacity and funding to enable us to reach our net zero targets.

Leaders from across the network will share how they are implementing innovative solutions to drive positive climate action, and invite further investment and support from private sector partners.

More information on the event is available here.
