Key Cities is celebrating its tenth anniversary!

Key Cities Newsdesk
January 16, 2024
Since its establishment, Key Cities has grown into a 28-member network covering almost half of the UK’s urban areas.

Together with the Key Cities APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) and Innovation Network, Key Cities continues to shape critical national conversations about cities, from climate and culture to skills and social care.

We are committed to campaigning for the devolution of powers and funding for local authorities, so that businesses and communities up and down the country can prosper and thrive.

Hear more from our Chair Cllr John Merry, Deputy Mayor of Salford and city leaders Cllr Jane Mudd, Leader of Newport and Cllr Tudor Evans, Leader of Plymouth on what ten years of Key Cities means to them, and their hopes for the network in the next decade.
